Crux puts his helmet back on to check up on Silver Team's progress. He waits several minutes for their hourly report...but none comes. He contacts Jackson, the leader of Silver Team, but gets no responce.
A burst of static comes in over the COM line, then a panicked Marine's voice fills his helmet. "This is Sergeant Harley. Jackson is here, in the armory, he's gone crazy or something! He is killing everyone. Get down here immidietly!" The Marine shouts. There is an explosion that erupts from the line, then it goes dead.
Crux tries to open the line again, and a second time. But it doesn't work.

Crux grabs his M6B sidearm and rushes to the armory which is only a little bit away.

Crux hears the explosions and gunfire from down the hall. But as he reaches the armory...all is silent.
He runs inside and the door slides open. He jumps back as a body falls towards him and he almost opens fire. But sees its a dead Marine.
The Marine's face is mishapen and extremely bloody, plus its missing an eye. Crux assumes the poor Marine had his head smashed into a wall or door by Jackson who had probably locked the doors.

The entire room is littered with bodies. At least fifteen Marines and three Spartans are dead, mortal wounds killing them on the spot.
"Over...here," A marine groans from across the room. Crux rushes to his side and begins to pull out his med kit, but sees the mans wounds and thinks otherwise.
"He is...headed to the...hanger," the Marine gasps. "Do you have any idea what started this?" Crux asks. "He just started...opening fire on us. It was unprovoked...He's gone crazy. I've seen it before," The marine says through gritted teeth. The marine pulls a chip from the back of his helmet and puts it into Crux's hand. "A recording of...what happened," The marine says. He shudders, coughs up a large amount of blood, then goes limp.
Crux rises from the dead body and places the chip into the back of his own helmet.
The messy sight of the armory is replaced by a cleaner version of the armory, what it looked like only 10 minutes before.
The marine is looking down at a console, working. He hears the armory door open but thinks nothing of it.
There is a sharp cracking sound that happens a full two minutes after the armory door opens, then a thump of a body falling to the ground.
The Marine turns around to see Jackson's massive form just standing in the middle of the room, looking down in full Spartan Armor at the dead scientest body. Jackson then looks over at the Marine's direction, and shoots him.
The recording turns to static and switches over to another Marine's view.
The Marine pulls out his weapon and opens fire, along with everyone else.
Jackson lobs a grenade, taking out six Marines. Then snags a SAW and takes out another seven. Jackson disappears from view underneath the bottom row of metal walkways. "Where is he?!" A panicked Marine's voice shouts. Suddenly, the Marine's view shudders and falls to the ground. Jackson's massive shadow passes over the body and takes out the other five marines on the walkway.
The recording switches to the last Marine, crouching behind a metal crate.
The firefight lasts another minute before Jackson calmly steps into view, M6B in hand. He turns his gaze slowly towards the Marine, raises his weapon, and shoots him once in the Chest.
The recording ends and leaves Crux with the messy armory.
Crux picks up a discarded SAW and leaves the armory.
"Picking up chatter from excersize room 4B," Froth says.
Crux changes course and heads to the excersize room, and finds a few bodies littered on the outside of it.
He enters the room and watches as Jackson crushes the skull of a Spartan with a heavy lifting weight which he then drops. Jackson turns his gaze slowly to Crux who tenses up, getting ready to fight. But Jackson simply walks away.
Crux gives chase but doesn't see him. "Froth, can you get his IFF tag?" Crux asks his AI. "I'm afraid not, he's blocked it," Froth says. "What about Spec?" Crux asks. "He's blocked as well. I have a feeling Spec is just as currupted as Jackson is right now," Froth says.

Froth finds Crux the nearest COM chatter and follows it. It leads him to the barracks which are quite close to the hanger.
"Jackson!" Crux yells as he gets there. Jackson finishes off the last Marine by pulling his fist out of his gut, and dropping the marine.
Jackson simply leaves again, ignoring Crux who follows the Spartan.
"He's almost to the hanger!" Froth says with distress. "Roland, close hanger A4, now!" Crux shouts. "I-I can't. Another AI is blocking it, I don't have access," Roland says, feeling distressed at not having access on his own ship. Crux curses and picks up the pace.
He skids to a stop just outside of the Hanger doors and hears the whine of the Falcon as it starts up and rise from the ground.
Jackson glances at Crux then turns around the Falcon and leaves the hanger, leaving to somwhere on the planet.

Crux is just about to take the second Falcon when a crippling explosion rocks the entire ship, knocking Crux down. The lights flicker, then give out. The entire ship bucks and alarms begin blaring as the ground tilts as begins coming closer while moving at a slow pace. The last Falcon slides out of the ship and falls many miles to the ground where it will hit the ground and explode.
"What was that" Crux demands. "An highly explosive bomb was detonated in the engine room and on two of the outer engines. We've lost power and we're headed down," Roland says with distress. "We're estimated to hit behind a mountain. We'll make it, but it'll be a rough ride," Roland says.

"Froth, mark the nearest hanger for me and get the rest of Silver-team on the line!" Crux says and begins heading towards the nearest hanger.
"What is it?" 211 asks over blaring alarms and excited chatter. "I'm headed to Hanger B14, meet me there. We're going after Jackson," Crux says. "What about-" 211 begins to ask, but Crux cuts him off. "I'll explain later!" And cuts the channel.

Crux heads through rushing crew members and panicked scientests that form a thick traffic of bodies that slow his pace to the Hanger.
He arrives a full minute after Parkson and 211 get there. Parkson has the Pelican warmed up and is waiting for me.
Brute is projecting from 211's helmet, folding his arms and looking upset. I can see Foxtrot on the pelican's dash, his arms clutched behind his back. Froth joins the party and steps away from my armor. "What's up, little men?" Froth asks. "That's what we should be asking you. What happened back there?" Brute asks. "And where is Jackson?" 211 adds.
"Here, watch this. It will explain everything," I saw and copy the recording two times and transfer it to Parkson and 211's suits.
After watching the recording they are shocked into silence, trying to absorb all of this.
"How..." 211 says, but shakes his head.
"We'll have to hunt him down, to try and reverse the effects. It's worked before on Spartans...it can work again," Parkson says hopefully. "Yeah...yeah. We'll do that," 211 says.
The bad thing is, from what I saw, he has nothing left. He's cracked, broken. He'll never make a good Spartan ever again. And it hurts me to see it. It hurts me to know that we'll have to kill him.
This was inspired by my friend, :iconvideogamemaniac001: and her idea for a story of her Spartan OC going insane. My friend helped me with the beginning part, since I was stumped as to how to do it. It also features my new OC, Captain Crux. He started out as a Sergeant, but during me and my friend's RP he was promoted to a Captain. :meow:
Enjoy!
